Wolfwood was not the original creator of runling run. Runling run in sc1 was the first, and it was 'redesigned by Jr.Ace all credit for this game idea goes to the original authors.'
It is unclear who the 'original authors' of runling run are. An ancient species lost in time, no doubt.
Its implied that the original authors were even earlier than the runling run 1 from broodwar. Since starcraft was released in early 1998, its possible runling run is almost 20 years old. Which makes it older than a lot of people who play it today

kang, you rlr scholar, you should definitely add that information to the wiki. but, where would RLR have been played before starcraft? i don't believe warcraft 1 or 2 had an arcade system or editor, and obviously diablo 1 didn't either, leaving starcraft as the first place to create a game in blizzard's library. or are you implying it existed outside of blizzard games?
